I was glad to see Mornings in Jenin here in the list of books. I read this years ago and the story has vividly stuck with me. The absolute pain of being forced from your generational home and land, and the unbelievably cruel reality of the creation of Israel is palpable in these pages.
Unfortunately, with the latest awful oppression in Gaza, and continuing abuse in the West Bank from Israeli settlers, it's possible this book isn't quite as powerful as it once was. But still, it is so worth a read to understand how this modern day hell came about.
I hope it is back in stock soon.
