Black seed oil is extracted from the seed of the Nigella sativa plant, which is native to Palestine. It has a range of potential health benefits, and has been consumed as a natural supplement by Palestinians for thousands of years.

Due to its anti-inflammatory and anti-microbial properties, regular external application of black seed oil may reduce the symptoms of acne and psoriasis. Some studies have found that it may also promote wound healing, and boost hair density and thickness.
